There will be two screenings at Inishowen’s only cinema, Buncrana Cinema, on Sunday the 15th December, one at 2pm and one at 6pm.

The film captures the sold out performance and the DVD is packaged and contains a special commemorative booklet.

On the 22ndJanuary 2023, the Inishowen Trad Orchestra and Choir performed INISHOWEN in the National Concert Hall, Dublin to a sold-out auditorium. It was a momentous occasion bringing together eighty-one musicians and fifty- six singers to perform a selection of music, song and poetry all of which was collected, played and composed in Inishowen over the past millennium. 

The Inishowen Trad Orchestra and Choir was formed in 2019 by Inishowen Traditional Music Project (ITMP) to celebrate the wealth of music and songs from Inishowen, Co. Donegal. It is an ensemble of some of the finest musicians and singers spanning many generations. 

ITMP is planning to use any profits generated from the screenings and sales of the DVD to help raise funds towards the costs of bringing the Orchestra and Choir back together for some performances in 2025, the centenary of the death of noted collector Honoria Galwey, who collected music and song in the peninsula in the 1800s.
